![]() Our travel to a local clinic found a facility with fewer supplies than found typically in our own medicine cabinets. The photo at left depicts the labor and delivery room that consisted of one bed adorned with a single pillow! The clinic provides medical assistance to roughly 300,000 local people. We learned that surgeries were performed without benefit of general anesthesia -- rather, morphine injections were provided and patients were awake during their entire surgery! Help us to help the husband (a doctor) and wife (head nurse) team by planting a seed to help us give much-needed supplies and equipment...

![]() The Sharing Hands Orphanage is home to more than 70 young children living without their parents. The bedrooms are equipped with simple, wooden platforms that serve as beds for some of the children -- and a thin mat serves as a make-shift mattress (see photo at left). As seen in the photo at right, the sparse playground equipment requires children to swing two per seat! You can help bring comfort to these children through your generous gift of love that will afford us the ability to send the following much-needed supplies and equipment. It is my immediate goal to send 100 cots so that the children will not have to sleep on concrete.
